About

Why Do Supplementary Training

Reach Acro, Dance, & Training focuses on providing supplementary training for dancers personalized to meet your goals. Training includes targeted strengthening, stretching and conditioning with the main goal to improve specific dance and acro skills. Training sessions may also include functional assessments to assess and address any technique issues. Reach also offers skill specific training sessions for acro and dance skills. The benefits of supplementary personalized training sessions are vast and overall will help elevate your skills and prevent injury.
Targeted strengthening & stretching

Exercises differ from regular personal training because they will target certain muscles that may be limiting your execution of specific skills.

Functional Exercises

Exercises that work on specific movements, positions or ranges of motion that a dancer may need. Such as strengthening in an extreme range of motion like the splits.

Dance Specific Conditioning

Exercises focus on conditioning the body and mind to be able to perform various dance specific movements over an extended period of time. Making sure you can get through all your routines.

Skills Breakdown

Training includes skills specific training and the breakdown of each skill into its biomechanical components. Making sure each component is strong before piecing them back together.
